Laneway Music are posting some absolutely killer Aussie music content from 40+ years ago. Lots and lots of single track videos but also some full concerts by diverse acts such as The Models, Icehouse, Mondo Rock, The Mark of Cain, The Celibate Rifles…holy fucking shit, Batman!

The Strawberry Jams
So Team Becker have released the Strawberry Jams on Bandcamp. They’ve made it a free download with a “name your price” but I urge everyone who downloads it on March 6 (next Bandcamp Friday) to offer a very generous amount to help with Jason’s care. The second album by Sian, released August last year. It’s all sung in Scots Gaelic by this delightful trio of lovely ladies.

Way back in Jan ‘24 I used this album as a palate cleanser after a godawful song sullied the good name of all bagpipers around the world.
I finally got around to buying it.
