So Team Becker have released the Strawberry Jams on Bandcamp. They’ve made it a free download with a “name your price” but I urge everyone who downloads it on March 6 (next Bandcamp Friday) to offer a very generous amount to help with Jason’s care. Alternatively, there is also a link to the PayPal account where you can also donate money to help. I’ve already used it, so should you.

The second album by Sian, released August last year. It’s all sung in Scots Gaelic by this delightful trio of lovely ladies.

Way back in Jan ‘24 I used this album as a palate cleanser after a godawful song sullied the good name of all bagpipers around the world.

I finally got around to buying it.

Christ I hated this stuff as a kid. The ‘rents loved it and would listen to it all the time on the weekends but it drove me bonkers. Now, not so much. It doesn’t make me nostalgic for childhood and it doesn’t quite fire up the blood the way bagpipes and small pipes do but it does still stir the Scottish blood in my veins.
