Continuing with the theme…

More zydeco to soothe the soul and move the ass!

And now for something completely different…

When people say they love all music, that’s usually bullshit and the moment you mention metal they screw up their face and say ewww. Or Country, or pop, or techno, or some traditional world music from Africa or South America. But for me, I won’t say I love all music because I’m sure there is some type of music out there that I won’t like—but I’m not sure I’ve heard it yet.

So anyway, ever since I watched the classic 1980s noir, The Big Easy, I’ve been a fan of cajun food, but especially cajun/creole/zydeco music! I’ve managed to pick up a few examples over the years but not enough to keep me happy…until now.:D

Yeah baby!

Bandcamp Friday! Wooooooo!

So just a smaller purchase this time around. And decidely different to what’s come before.

Though, to begin with it seems similar…

David Hartley on Bohemian Rhapsody…

The amazing David Hartley does it again. A breakdown of the recording of Bohemian Rhapsody, that features the stunning individual vocal tracks of Freddie, displaying fully that he truly was an incredible singer. It’s just over 21 minutes long but enthralling throughout.

Classic Aussie Rock, Blues, New Wave, n Punk. Holy shit!

So I’ve posted a few YouTube videos that have caught my attention but never a whole channel…until now.

Laneway Music are posting some absolutely killer Aussie music content from 40+ years ago. Lots and lots of single track videos but also some full concerts by diverse acts such as The Models, Icehouse, Mondo Rock, The Mark of Cain, The Celibate Rifles…holy fucking shit, Batman!
