Activate the wayback machine…
Way back in Jan ‘24 I used this album as a palate cleanser after a godawful song sullied the good name of all bagpipers around the world.
I finally got around to buying it.
How listening habits change…
Christ I hated this stuff as a kid. The ‘rents loved it and would listen to it all the time on the weekends but it drove me bonkers. Now, not so much. It doesn’t make me nostalgic for childhood and it doesn’t quite fire up the blood the way bagpipes and small pipes do but it does still stir the Scottish blood in my veins.

I guess I’ve become mildly obsessed with the Scottish Smallpipes
Brìghde Chaimbeul
An amazing young lady from the Isle of Skye.
I love love love this, so it is already in my cart ready for December 5th’s Bandcamp Friday! Along with her latest album, natch!
