It should be noted that on every site that recommends CachyOS for gaming, they neglect to mention that it doesn’t actually include any of the programs you need to fucking play games. Steam wasn’t installed by default. Proton wasn’t installed by default. Lutris, Hero, or anything that helps Windows users acclimatise to gaming on Linux was not fucking installed. FPS and optimised this that and the other is pointless if the newbie has to jump through 10 dozen hoops to install and play their favourite fucking game.
